The short version: use Banjo for your family, keep your account safe, and keep important dates in Google Calendar too.
Banjo is a family calendar, offered free of charge. By signing in you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. You must be an adult to start a household. You’re responsible for the people you invite into it and for keeping your Google account secure.
Use Banjo for your own family’s planning. Please don’t:
Your events, lists, recipes, photos and family details stay yours. You give Banjo permission to store them, show them to the people in your household and sync them with the Google calendars you connect, only so the app can work. You can export your household’s data from Settings at any time.
Banjo works with your Google account and Google Calendar. Your use of Google is also covered by Google’s own terms. You can remove Banjo’s access from your Google Account at any time.
Recipe import reads photos, files and pages automatically and can get things wrong. Check amounts, steps and allergens before you rely on them. The same goes for school lunch menus, which come from your school’s menu service.
Banjo is free. If we ever offer paid features, we’ll say so clearly first, and nothing you already use will start costing money without your say.
Banjo is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. Keep important dates in Google Calendar too. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for missed events, lost data, sync problems or other indirect losses from using Banjo.
You can stop using Banjo at any time and delete your household from Settings. We may suspend access that harms Banjo or other households. If we ever shut Banjo down, we’ll give you notice and time to export your data.
If these terms change, we’ll update the date at the top, and tell you in Banjo when the change matters.
